12 Reasons for Reading Newspapers

1. There’s something about the crackle of that fresh morning newspaper.
2. Newspapers offer a complete package of news, comics, crosswords, horoscopes, movie reviews, and what not.
3. Reading newspapers can improve our vocabulary, spellings and grammar.
4. One can find many topics to write about from newspapers.
5. Reading newspapers can provide us with tons of things to talk about.
6. One can take a newspaper with him/her almost anywhere.
7. If you are bored of the conventional mode of reading, you can always read the newspaper upside down.
8. Think about all the various crafts you can create with newspapers. You can use it for papier-mâché, origami, you can cut it into different patterns 
9. Newspapers provide us our regular dose of comics. It is interesting to go from day to day, wondering what will happen in the next installment of ‘Peanuts’ or wondering how Spiderman’s or Batman’s latest adventure will unfold.
10.  Newspapers can be used to cover books.
11. Many newspapers provide supplements and the weekly magazine. These offer interesting articles on a variety of topics along with some useful tips on various things. They can be enjoyable to read and can be pretty useful too.
12. Cleaning the house? Putting a new coat of paint perhaps? Well, how will you protect the furniture from the dust or paint? Old newspapers to the rescue!
