Adolf Hilter was the measuring stick for all evil dictators around the world and no one can ever hear the name without thinking of the man who arranged the deaths of thousands. Yet some parents got the idea in their head to name their son, Adolf Hitler.

It takes a lot to offend me. It takes a lot to disgust me. It takes a whole of a hell of a lot to shock me. I think that partly, society in general and all of its messed up natural has desensitized me  to pretty much everything in life. Granted, there are things where I see that are bad where I shrug, “that’s sad, that sucks, but not surprising.”

Yet this story struck a nerve with me. I had heard about it previously and I absolutely refused to believe it. I thought, “no, there cannot be a person that stupid, that ignorant to think this could potentially be a good idea.” I mean, people these days, are capable of a lot of disturbing and twisted things. A lot of things that were previously horrifying are just now common place. Such is the nature of life.

Yet there is this.

Someone actually named their child Adolf Hitler.

Just step back and let that one sink in for a minute.

There is not a person ever who will ever hear of the Adolf Hitler and often think of anything but the man who lead the Nazis, who exterminated countless. Even the name, “Adolf” on its own, is not going to conjure up some happy, fluffy memories. The Holocaust and what occurred has been well documented. The sadism of Adolf Hitler has been well documented. There will never be a man as evil as he was. He is the measuring stick of evil dictators that have been, currently are, and always will be.  

You name a child “Adolf Hitler”. That is an automatic fail as a parent. The child should be taken away and the parents in question should be automatically sterilized. There are no questions whatsoever.

You’re delusional if you think children won’t be cruel to a child with a name like that. Children have been bullied for far less reasons. And condemning a poor child to such a fate, it is twisted. That child will never get a fair shake in life with such a name and most likely will be in some mental institution by the time that they are eighteen with all of the cruelty that they will encounter. That was the fate for young Adolf Hitler Campbell if his parents were allowed to get their way.

The parents in question have had their child taken away(and two other children as well), due to child abuse. Yes, that is what it is. In some ways, there are more sickening forms in child abuse, but in other ways, this is far more disturbing than anything that you muster.

And what offends me the most, is the parents trying to portray themselves as some tragic victims by the big bad courts. No, you were the morons who named your child “Adolf Hitler”.

Just disgraceful and a slap in the face of pretty much everyone.

Name your child whatever you want but within reason. This is unreasonable.

The custody battle was lost and obviously if any other result would have happened,  I would really have lost all of hope for the human race.

And people wonder why I think there should be a strict licensing process before people are allowed to be parents.
