Anonymous Front Man Issues Threats Then Runs for Cover
Barrett Brown the face of hacktavist group Anonymous, has gone into hiding after issuing threats against drug cartel Los Zetas.
Last week, a member of Anonymous disappeared “allegedly” and front-man Barrett Brown took to Twitter to issue threats to Mexican drug catel Los Zetas, who he purports had the hacker imprisoned.
Brown issued the ultimatum to the cartel on November 2nd stating “Give us back our #Anonymous participant or many of you die within a week,” Rather unexpectedly the missing member then appeared. But amid the controversy, the cartel killed a blogger in the most brutal of ways.
Unable to get support for his group “Opcartel”, a group designed to target groups like Los Zetas. Brown has had to flee his Dallas home, in fear of his life, as it seems that Los Zetas now have a form of “Fatwah” against Brown.
Brown discovered a series of personal details about him, including his home address and movements had been leaked on-line by a great number of his enemies, which includes a number of ex-military types.
Brown had to again take to Twitter to get help to fund his escape.
