According to papers reported in the, at times scurrilous, Daily Mail, Robin Gibb was seemingly intent on causing maximum harm to various people. Robin appears to have lost it during strongly acrimonious divorce procedures. The, some would say, most charismatic Bee Gee was responsible for these actions while divorcing his wife Molly Hullis in 1980. Robin and molly had been married since 1968.

Gibbs/Hullis was a very ugly divorce. At the heart of the shenanigans it seems that Robin was incensed with Molly and her London based divorce lawyers. Might money have been at the heart too? The Daily Mail alleges that Robin threatened the solicitors Haymon & Walters in March 1981. Robin supposedly sent his threats in telegrams. In one particular telegraph the Daily Mail reports that Gibb claimed to have hired a hit-man and that he had “warned” the solicitors repeatedly that he would.

Well written, thank you.
That would be a tragedy…get it? Good write.
Thank you for this.
At the time, I felt like killing my ex-wife’s lawyer, but I got over it. Divorce lawyers are such slimy bottom-feeders, it’s a natural reaction.
After I ran into her at the grocery store the other day, several years later, and saw what she looks like now, it became clear to me that her lawyer had done me a great favor!
RIP Robin Gibb.
Martin Kloess forgot he’d already spammed his link but more remarkably the poo-bag who is Sam St Croix made a relevant and not too prat-like comment. Praise the Lord!
