If BCCI sources are to be believed, M.S. Dhoni’s tenure as India’s test captain is over after the team’s 4-0 drubbing at the hands of a resurgent Australia. He is likely to be replaced by dashing opener Virender Sehwag. It is believed that an ego clash between the two was a major reason for the latest debacle. Sehwag, it is reported, was miffed at the fact that Dhoni did not consult him before making decisions. Incidentally, Dhoni has been under fire for the defensive field settings he has adopted throughout the series. In contrast, the Australians were able to have as many as 6 fielders around the bat on occasion.
