There is a horrific story that I read about a man who was arrested for getting a child pregnant. You will probably be just as disgusted by this story as I was when I read it.
The News
A 28-year-old man named Trevaun Brooks is being held for $1 million for getting a child pregnant. He sexually assaulted an 11-year-old girl. To make it even worse, the girl turned out to be the daughter of his girlfriend.
He is being charged with first and second-degree sexual conduct charges. Brooks was arrested on September 5, 2011. A warrant was issued for him when he failed to meet with the police. The sheriff wanted to look for him and then he was arrested.
The girl is now 12-years-old and has had the baby by Brooks. She had the baby on August 9th. The girl and her baby are with child protective services.
My Thoughts
I was completely shocked when I read this story. It’s horrible that he felt that he had to rape an 11-year-old girl. Where was her mother during this horrendous crime? Why would she let her boyfriend do that to her daughter?
He deserves to be in jail. In fact, he should be under the jail for what he did to the girl. I can’t believe that an 11-year-old has to deal with having a child on top of being raped. She is a little girl and shouldn’t have to worry about being a mother right now. I hope that she gets the help that she needs to deal with this traumatic situation. I hope that the girl’s mother is not still with her boyfriend. He is a monster.
What are your thoughts on this story? Can you believe that a man would be so cruel as to get his girlfriend’s daughter pregnant? What could the little girl have that his adult girlfriend didn’t have?
There is no sense trying to make sense out of such a thing. I would be scared of myself if this did make sense to me. But, this kind of thing happens way too often. Women get so caught up in some guy that they forget that they have children who need and deserve their protection. I hope she didn’t know what was going on. But, the fact that the child is still in protective services, doesn’t look good for the mother. Single parents should be VERY careful who they introduce into their children’s lives.
My husband and I were talking about this case yesterday. Neither one of us can understand why a man would want to have sex with a child. Single mothers have to be so careful who they allow into the lives of their children.
Good report and article. This is a shame, a true shame. People like this need to sit behind bars for many years cause they sure have issues.
More of those molesters should be locked up.
You ask why would the mother let him do that to her daughter, well perhaps she didnt LET him, but perhaps she did. Sadly there have been many cases of women so despirate for a man in their lives they do let the guy mess with their kids, some in exchange for drugs or booze, and some just because they know if they stop it the man will leave and they cannot cope with being alone. But again, in this case we do not know if the woman even knew. Pretty sick stuff though.
The man is a pedophile. Pure and simple, he was with the woman to get at the girl. Mothers must watch out for these guys and not bring them home to their children.
A recent case in my place was a mother being sentenced to jail for 7 years because she let her boy friend raped her own daughter many years ago. So, I am not surprised to hear this news. I feel pity for all children that not under well-protection.

There is so much of this going on, recently on the new there was the story of the young girl who was kidnaped on her way to school and she was not found for years in that time he foced her to have sex and she had two children by him. He had a partner who helped him with the kidnaping.
gosh! a news like this makes me angry! where does these monsters came from?

I am disgusted just to say the least! Sounds like a desperate pediophile. I don’t think the girlfriend would allow such a thing like this. She probably had no idea. These days you just can’t trust anyone. I notice a lot of cases where the mother’s new boyfriend ends up raping or falling in love with the daughter. Parents need to be careful who they choose to date and bring into their homes especially if they have minors.
I also agree with Ruby. This man is a paedophile and will probably have assaulted the girl while the mother was out. If she knew and did nothing then she is almost as guilty.

The world has gone sick and some men are like uncontrollable animals. Even in Uk we have had cases of a man having sex with a baby that was a few months old……
or a male teacher touching female girls inappropriatly while recording.
Both have been Jailed.
Im sick of such people.

These men can be very charming and conniving. The mother may not have had a clue, but if she did she needs help for letting someone robs her daughter’s childhood and in such a traumatic way!
She had two things his girlfriend did not have – innocence and youth.
OMG, I cannot tolerate this kind of things, adults should protect kids instead of hurting them, moreover to rape them. If the mother of the girl knew and allowed that, she should also go to hell together with the rapist.

My question: why was this poor abused child forced to gestate the offspring of this monster? An abortion was completely warranted in this case.
It doesn’t make any sense to me what-so-ever, however I think it doesn’t help that there are a lot of young girls with very short shorts on! In fact I wouldn’t even be surprised if that’s why most teenage rapes happen, because the teens themselves are seducing men with their outfits!
Maybe kids need to be told what people think of them when they dress the way they do…
I think not so young, but in a proper age.
