Miss Universe 2011

I have just stayed glued to Star World watching Miss Universe 2011 live. 89 beauties paraded what they’ve got in Sao Paolo, Brazil. The top 10 are the following. They are listed as to how they were called:

Among the 10, the looks of Ms. Panama were so apparent with her wide sexy lips and cute face. During the swim wear, Ms. Philippines’ style was unique. Unlike the others, she did not something with her sarong. This outlined her figure. As for the evening gown competition Ms. Portugal stood out with her elegance and confidence. As compared to the others, she had more of a conservative design.

As for the Q and A

Ms Ukraine: If you could trade lives with anyone in history. Who would it be and why?

-I will live with my life because Im satisfied with it. But if I would have a chance, I will choose Cleopatra…she is a very strong woman who deserves respect…she is also a leader

Ms Philippines: Would you change your religious beliefs before marrying the man you love?

-I will not change my religious beliefs. I love my God first. And if he really loves me, he should love my God too.

Ms China:  What ….. is inappropriate? Why? (I was not able to get this question right)

-Every country has its own regulations. We should respect them and be more understanding.

Brazil: What would you do to avoid fighting the war…?

-I would explain that the premier quality of human beings is respect. War is always a basis of misunderstanding. We should respect each other.

Angola: If you could change one of your physical characteristics, which one would it be and why?

-I’m very well satisfied. I will not change a thing. I can see myself endowed with inner beauty, a woman filled with principles. I have acquired many principles from my family, and I will like to give you one piece of advice, respect each other.

I liked Miss Philippines’ answer the most since she was quite spontaneous and decisive with how she answered. She gave a wise response…poignant, straight to the point and very meaningful. In a positive light, it was a signature response.

I must commend Star World for having a prompt and spontaneous telecast. There were also a few advertisements as compared to the other kinds of major pageants.
