Could be the first flying car for public use.

Just reading the newspaper today, and I came across this amazing piece of technology. This really is a step forward to the future. Flying Cars!!! It may look like something out of Thuderbirds, but this is real.

Its called the Moller Skycar M400. It is rather hard to imagine how we will manage to traffic air traffic, that’s if we do. Also another problem, slightly expensive for now, only $1,000,000. Meh, its said to drop to $100,000. Still out of most of our price range. Yet it is said to be so ‘cheap’ because it has 8 ‘cheap’ rotars.

On the upsides, it is said to be suprisingly fuel efficient, 20mpg. Which is rather impressive for something that’s flying. Also its’ typical cruise speed is 275mph, while max is 375 mph. Which could be very useful, unless you get fined for speeding, just a bit over 50mph… Moller can also vertically take of, like a helicopter, it simply swivels its’ rotars sideways, which should mean no need for a runway..

Moller has been purposed to come out in 2011.
