Out of every person to represent humanity, Steve Colbert is our man.

Plans are currently being made to digitize the DNA of Steve Colbert and have it sent to the International Space Station.

The device that will carry his drive has been dubbed the “Immortality Drive”.  This device has been created to orbit in space in case some unlikely catastrophic event destroys humanity on Earth.  Other information regarding humanity will be placed on the device as well.

My main question is “why this man?”  It seems like they could have selected a great researcher or world leader to digitize and send into space.  Why Steve was selected I will never understand.
