The fashion of the 2012 Tony Awards.
Celia Keenan-Bolger – Admittedly the dress is a little over the top, at first glance she looks like she rolled around in glue and tinsel, but the neutral color, soft tulle, and sweetheart neck line tone down the chaos into what seems to be a perfect mix. Celia (and her classic looking man) get a best dressed for this event.
Kelli O’hara – A bit too dazzling. The one strap and flowing train just don’t make sense with the rest of the dress’s simplicity, there’s almost too little to be that much. Covered from head to toe in silver sparkles with a boxy top and curve hiding skirt Kelli looks more like the award than a nominee. This gorgeous star’s own shine was hidden by the dress. Kelli get’s a worst dressed for this event.
Hugh Jackman – Is it just my imagination or does his color resemble a W? Hello wolverine! Maybe it’s his smile, but Hugh looks almost playful in this one button tux (is that even possible?!) Hugh get’s a best dressed for this event.
Stockard Channing – Oh dear! The cut, the color, the pattern; all so wrong. This dress is completely overwhelming. The low cut double top and dark purple just don’t work for this long time star, or really anyone. Stockard get’s a worst dressed for this event.
Sheryl Crow – Exquisite! The night blue color matched with the flowing silk and sprawling lace top gives this star a dainty but mature impression. This beauty’s elegant appearance earns her a best dressed for this event.
Jeremy Jordan and Ashley Spencer – The perfect pair! Jeremy looked dapper sporting a 3-piece pinstripe suit and Ashley wore a deep blue dress that showed just enough skin, cutting out the back creating a piece of art. Her ruby red lips and gorgeous attire paired with his devilishly good looks and classic style earned this couple a best dressed for this event.
Laura Osnes – Loving the top…the bottom, not so much. The form fitting, detailed top looks wonderful on this Broadway beauty! However I’m being taken back to an 80’s prom by the dark green satin bottom…ew. Laura get’s a worst dressed for this event.
Andrew Garfield – Did my heart just skip a beat? Classy and laid back, Andrew looked cutely handsome wearing a simple skinny tie and plain tux. The effortless but sophisticated appearance was perfect for the up and coming star of The Amazing Spider Man. Andrew get’s a best dressed for this event.
Condola Rashad – Not exactly the worst but this dress just isn’t red carpet ready; the dress looks more like what the popular girl wore to the school dance than what a successful actress would wear to an award event. Condola’s dress does nothing for her amazing figure and quickly leaves the memory after being seen. The over simplicity of Condola’s dress get’s her a worst dressed for this event.
Amanda Seyfried – Such a gorgeous young actress really doesn’t need this much! The dress is cute, but not exactly red carpet style and does nothing for her figure. The bright orange belt is unnecessary and takes away the attention from Amanda’s natural beauty. Amanda is too done up and get’s a worst dressed for this event.
Nick Jonas – Now my heart definitely skipped a beat! Wearing a one button jacket, adorable bow tie, and is that a Red ribbon for Aids?(Aw!) Nick looks sleek and utterly handsome, all I can think of is a young James bond. This suave look earns Nick a best dressed for this event.
Laura Bell Bundy – Figure skater meets prom queen? The bedazzled top is dazzling but awkwardly shaped and uncomfortable looking, paired with the cheap looking bottom that brings to mind the typical prom queen leaves me questioning this fashion statement. Laura’s natural beauty made this dress best dressed worthy but the garment alone get’s a worst dressed for this event.
Lilla Crawford – The pretty princess of the night! Simple and sparkle is all this little girl needed to bring out her innocent beauty. Lilla and her adorable curls earn a best dressed this event.
