Australian billionaire Clive Palmer plans to build the "Titanic 2", which maiden voyage from Britain to North America should start in late 2016th year.

According to Sydney Morning Herald, Palmer has revealed that his company Blue Star Line Pty. Ltd. has commissioned the construction of a replica of one of the most famous ships in history to China’s State CSC Jinling shipyard. Construction costs are currently unknown to the public.

The plan was, he said Palmer, a ship that is as close as possible, the original Titanic in the design and specifications, but with modern technology.
Just like the originals will be about 40,000 tons of heavy, about 270 meters long and 53 meters high and will have nine decks and 840 rooms.

“It will be luxurious as the original Titanic, but of course, will have all the latest technology of the 21st century and the most modern navigation and safety system,” said Palmer, who planned the latest technology to ensure that the “Titanic 2″ does not befall the fate of his predecessor.
Speaking about the possibility of his cruise ship sinks, Palmer said: “Of course it will sink if you make a hole in it. It will be designed so it can’t sink, like a modern boat with its technology, which ensures that this does not happen.”
Apart from owning a luxury resort on the Sunshine Coast, there are plans to build a fleet of luxury ships.
His plan to build a replica of the Titanic was released the same day when he discovered that the candidate in the next federal election in Queensland.
