Truck Crashes Into the Pavement, Kills Two

Two students were killed when a truck lost control and rammed into them just outside SRM University Campus on NH45, Chennai. It had been raining and the roads were still wet but the actual reason for the truck losing control has not yet been confirmed. One of the students was killed on the spot while the other was rushed to the nearby SRM hospital where he died eventually.

The truck also ran over a speed sign and even though the two students were standing about 10feet away from the roadside, it managed to crash into them before finally coming to a stop. Eyewitness reports say that the victims had suffered much blood loss and though paramedics came to the rescue within minutes, it was too late to save their lives.
