Kony 2012, the YouTube video that been spreading on social medias all around the world.

This are the first few words from the latest YouTube video that is sweeping the world. Kony 2012 is a film and a campaign that aims for the arrest of Joseph Kony. Joseph Kony is a war lord in Uganda, abducting children to train them as rebels.

This video started with his old friend, Jacob, from Uganda in Africa. Jacob was an young boy then, running for his life among with other boys in his town, to avoid getting abducted by the rebel. He also witnessed how the rebels cut his brother’s neck while trying to escape.
Joseph Kony is the leader of LRA, a rebel group in Uganda, abducting children to work for his army. He Abducts girls to be sex slaves, and boy to be his child army. The way he treats this kids are very much depressing.

After this video was launched and spread online through social media sites like Facebook and Twitter. Holywood celebrities are now supporting and giving pledges to support the campaign.
“That’s our objective. Just shine the light on” -George Clooney in an interview.
There were also allegations regarding the campaign. Some blogs stated that it “it feels grossly misinterpreted because the war happened years ago”
There were also allegations that the funds are going to the wrong hands.
Whatever the allegations about this campaign, as of this writing, Kony 2012 has reached 68,886,664 views.
