After the national media attention of bullied teens such as Megan Meier, who was bullied by the mother of one of her peers on MySpace, one would think that parents would have learned that bullying children, especially adults bullying children, is not a joke.

Yet, like a vicious circle of stupidity, we see another national media story about a child being bullied by a peers’ parent.

Danette Stark, age 37,  allegedly took a pornographic photo of a woman having intercourse with a dog and digitally superimposed the face of a 13-year-old girl in place of the woman’s face. She also wrote derogatory captions about the girl on the fliers.  The girl’s name was not released to the press. But, the girl apparently attends the same middle school as Stark’s daughter.  Stark nor police are discussing the motive behind making these fliers, other than Stark thought the girl “wronged” her daughter.

Surveillance video at the school showed Stark entering a school bathroom. A custodian later found these pornographic fliers in the bathroom. The fliers had also been placed in the lockers of several students.

Stark admitted to making 30 fliers, almost half of which have not been recovered by the Utah police.  Police are asking anyone that sees or has received a copy of the flier to turn it over immediately, adding that anyone that further distributes, copies, or places it on the internet is committing a crime by distributing pornography.

Stark will face 18 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor. This is a felony of the second degree, and carries a sentence of 1 to 15 years in state prison.

It is bad enough when kids bully kids, but the human race has hit an all time low when parents feel justified in bullying, defaming, and embarrassing children.
