Singer Amy Winehouse has been found dead at her London home.

Singer Amy Winehouse has reportedly been found dead at her London home at 4pm on 23rd of July. Early Police reports have stated that the death of Amy Winehouse is, at this moment, unexplained. The singer was aged 27 at her death.

Amy Winehouse first hit the UK charts in October 2003 with the song Stronger Than Me but it only reached a peak of number 71. 2004 saw her release the songs Take The Box, In My Bed and Pumps but they failed to set the charts alight, reaching peaks of number 57, 60 and 69 respectively. It wasn’t until October 2006 that Amy Winehouse really hit the big time when her song Rehab hit number 7 in the UK.
The biggest chart hit Amy Winehouse enjoyed in the UK was as lead vocalist on the Mark Ronson version of the Zutons tune Valerie, which hit a peak of number 2 in the UK charts in September 2007.
The death of Amy Winehouse certainly comes as a shock to the music world. Amy Winehouse Rest In Peace, another fine musician dead at the age of 27!

Let it be known that Al scooped a lot of big names on the death of Amy Winehouse by at LEAST 10-15 minutes. Hard to believe she went out at 27.

I just heard about this today. I heard a few of her songs before, but I wasn’t exactly going to go out and buy all her music. Now I’ll think about it.

Amy Winehouse sure was a talented singer but her private life seemed such a wreck. Still, it is a shame that Amy Winehouse is now dead.
Loved her singing Valerie, I used to think it was her song and that the Zutons covered her, not the other way round. lol Hard to take in that a talent like Amy Winehouse is dead at such a young age.

One of the TV channels (Viva, I think) is showing a tribute to Amy Winehouse tonight at 11pm.
I wonder if her music will now be rereleased and there will be plenty of her songs in this weeks charts
Amy wasted her talent. Addiction is Hell on Earth. When an addict won’t heed the pleas of family and friends, there is little to do but await the outcome. Some make it, some don’t. RIP Amy, and condolences for those she have left behind and brokenhearted.
Well that is the prize you pay for drinks and drugs and smoke… Sorry for her talent gone waste and my heart goes out to the family… She was an accident waiting to happen, pity but she asked for it…

Well it is very sad to see her go. The fast life have only one invitable consequnce that is death. I’m sure she knew that but I guess the drugs had to much hold on her. We have one body we most take care of it. She didnt take care of her body. I don’t know her so I won’t judge. I will say this rest in peace your work is done.

I am not a fan, but the rehab song was catchy, I was otherwise unfamiliar with her music. Pity nobody cared about her more to save her from herself.
too many artist who died in young age
not surprised. she lived a reckless, chaotic, and dangerous life. she chose it. i thought she died 8 years ago along with her singing career
Who cares? she wasted her life. why should we care about her when she didnt care about herself. people die every day that live better lives than amy winehouse and who deserve to still be alive
So sad. Like Kurt Cobain, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison and John Lennon; she was a musical genius. By the time they all died, they’ve already accomplished more then most musicians will in their entire lifetime. Maybe that is why they still live in today’s music. This is the beginning of another end, and the death of a living legend.
She should have gone to rehab instead of saying no, no, no…..
