Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber is searching for a new “Joseph” for his hit musical on the West End.

After solving “How do you solve a problem like Maria?” Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber is now looking for a new Joseph on BBC1 on a Saturday evening, for his hit musical “Joseph and his multicolored dream coat”.

In the early auditions, potential “Josephs” get through until they have to sing in the studio to a panel of judges including John Barrowman and Denise Van Outen. After passing that hurdle the final 50 are taken to Joseph School where they learn to dance, act and take further singing lessons with a professional voice coach. Again half are eliminated and the final 25 are taken to Scotland to Lord Webber’s home to sing live, where it is make or break time. The best 12 are then to sing live on television each Saturday in front of a studio audience for their survival.

The chosen Joseph will have to have nerves of steel to overcome all these hurdles and cope with the pressure. I can’t wait to find out who that man is with the star quality!
