Bollywood Actor Shiney Ahuja Arrested on Rape Charges

Shiney Ahuja is Bollywood actor Indian actor, who acted in films like Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, Gangster, and Khoya Khoya chand. He was born on May 15 1973 in Delhi. He joined Barry Johns acting School in Delhi and then he moved to Mumbai.

He started his carrer by modelling and TV commercials. He also acted in a music video for Stereo Nation. He made his debut in films with the the film Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi in 2005. He won Best male debut award by Filmfare Awards, Screen Awards, IIFA Awards, Zee Cine Awards and Stardust Awards for this film. His next film was  Karam released in 2005 starring John Abraham and Priyanka Chopra. His next movie was Mahesh Bhatt’s Gangster.

Shiney Ahuja was arrested on June 14, 2009 for allegedly raping his 18 year old servant.  Complaint was lodged by his servant at Oshiwara police station in Mumbai. He was arrested for interrogation. His servant has been working at Shiney’s house for nearly a year. According to her, Shiney took her into his bedroom, gagged and raped her.

Shiney is known to be somewhat temperamental. His strained relationship with his co-stars has often been a subject of popular gossip. The star was recently in the news for shooting an intimate scene with Soha Ali Khan for the film Accident. He is a married man and is the father to a year-old child.
