Oprah Winfrey’s school for disadvantaged girls in South Africa has a charge of misconduct of a matron. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas overnights in his RV at Wal-Mart. Bobby Brown will be on “Gone Country”.
Oprah Winfrey’s disadvantaged girl’s school in South Africa:
A matron at Oprah Winfrey’s school for disadvantaged girls in South Africa has been suspended for allegations of serious misconduct. The school opened last January with much publicity, and fanfare. No details were released as to the nature of the misconduct. Police confirmed they had been informed, and chief executive Officer John Samuel said an internal investigation was ongoing. Samuel said Friday, immediate action had been taken “to insure the safety and well-being of the students”.
Oprah stated, “Nothing is more serious or devastating to me than allegations of misconduct by an adult against any girl in the academy”.
“The head of the academy has agreed to take a paid leave while the investigation is taking place.’ said Samuels, making clear the woman wasn’t the subject of any allegations.
Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas:
The next time you are at Wal-Mart, take a look around, and if you see a big RV in the parking lot, it just might be Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. Speaking Thursday at an Atlanta Press Club luncheon, the Georgia native confirmed that he and his wife Virginia often overnight in their RV at Wal-mart where people know them as plain petrol guzzling folks.
“Someone told me some of the best people in the country can be found in the RV parks, and it has been a delight,” Thomas said. Less delightful, the time he drove it through Atlanta.” I’ll avoid that now,” Thomas said to hoots of laughter.” There’s a lot going on around Atlanta on the interstate.” Tell us something we don’t already know, Mr. Justice.
Bobby Brown “Gone Country”:
Early next year CMT will release something called “Gone Country” We’re told the in-depth concept centers on non-country singers who will live in a mansion, and compete to see who can best adapt to becoming a country singer. The celebrities include Snellville’s own former Idol contestant Diana Dagarmo, and ex-hubby of Whitney Houston, Bobby Brown, Julio Iglesias, and Dee Snider (Twisted Sister).
The celebrities will bunk together in a Nashville Mansion, and compose songs with Nashville song writers. The cast will compete with each other in challenges that will test them musically, and physically to adapt to a country music lifestyle, both on and off the stage. John Rich of Big and Rich will be among the judges.

I will be on the look-out for clarence Thomas and his wife at Wal-Mart.Don’t blame him for keeping that RV out of Atlanta.
Clarence Thomas is just a plain Georgia man who grew up the hard way, and Oprah grew up poor too. I’m glad some make good.
I will certainly say hello to Thomas if I run into him at WAlMart.
I learned something new from reading this, thank you!
Thanks friends for your comments.
I feel so sorry about Oprah’s school. She tries so hard, and this happens to those innocent girls. What a shame!
Suzzanne, Wasn’t that just terrible. Bad things can happen everywhere though and to the best people.
I will be on the lookout for Clarence Thomas at Walmart for sure.
Lots of news. Sad about the girls’ school, though. Hopefully, any problems will get sorted out and the girls can benefit from what the school has to offer.
It’s sad about the school, and who would have thought Clarence Thomas would be at Walmart?
