Here’s another list of strange celebrity baby names. Be prepared. Some of these names are really strange.
As I have written in other columns, celebrities give their children strange names. I found some more names that are really strange if not worse than the others. Believe it or not, I found a couple of names that are worse than Pilot Inspektor (Jason Lee) and Moxie Crimefighter (Penn Jillette). Here is the list of strange celebrity baby names.
Lisa Bonet and Jason Momoa
Actress Lisa Bonet and her boyfriend actor Jason Momoa had a son not too long ago. Grab your seats for this one! They named their son Nakoa-Wolf Manakaupo Namakaeha Momoa. It’s the longest name I’ve ever seen. Remember when I told you that there was a name worse than Pilot Inspektor and Moxie Crimefighter? Well this is one of the names. I can’t pronounce a single name except Wolf. I feel sorry for this kid when he gets older.
Anne Heche
Actress Anne Heche and her boyfriend have a son. They named him Atlas. I wonder if she was reading a road map when she came up with this name. I shouldn’t really be surprised since she named her first child Homer.
Idris Elba
Actor Idris Elba has a daughter named Isan. This must be a family name or something because I’ve never heard of it.
Matthew Settle
Actor Matthew Settle and his wife named their daughter Aven Angelica. There’s nothing wrong with Angelica, but why Aven? It reminds me of Avon Cosmetics. To me, it sounds more like a last name than a first name.
M.I.A.
British rapper M.I.A. named her son Ikhyd Edgar Arular Bronfman. This is the other name that is one of the worse names. It’s just as bad as the name of Lisa Bonet’s son. M.I.A. would have been better off naming him Edgar. That would have been better than the other names.
Dr. Dre
Rapper-producer Dr. Dre has a son named Truth and a daughter named Truly. Does he believe in honesty or what?
Macy Gray
Singer Macy Gray has a child named Tahmel. I know she’s eccentric, but did she have to take it out on the child?
Don Johnson
Actor Don Johnson has a daughter named Atherton Grace. It sounds like the name of a hotel or something.
Sean Penn and Robin Wright
Actor Sean Penn and his wife actress Robin Wright have a son named Hopper. What did this child do wrong? Was it a difficult pregnancy or something because the oldest child didn’t get a name like this? His name is Dylan.
Steffi Graf and Andre Agassi
Tennis players Steffi Graf and Andre Agassi have a child named Jaz. I’m not sure if it’s a boy or a girl, but it’s a strange name either way. It reminds me of jazz music.

Great article CA. I’ve been wondering what’s up with celebrities giving all these weird names to their children. I know many people like to be original but come on!! Besides, have they ever thought about the kind of hell they’ll be putting their kids through? Especially Anne Heche…whom I’ve met before, by the way, very nice lady….naming her son Atlas. I feel sorry for that kid already.
I enjoyed reading the names though I won’t use them for my future children.

Funny thing about it is I named my daughter after an actress’ kid named Heaven. Theirs was a son and mine was a daughter.;-) It sounds strange but I like it.;-)

Don’t you feel sorry for these little children who will have to carry these names around for life? caqn you imagine when they go to school? If these aren’t abusive parents I don’tknow what is.

Haha, really interesting article and it kept me smiling throughout. Very well researched too but it is shocking that these celebs do have some WEIRD childrens’ names. I just can’t help but feel sorry for them really. They must have an unfortunate future
