Christina Aguilera National Anthem

Christina Aguilera admitted making a mistake when she sanged the national anthem at the Super Bowl on Sunday night.

She wants everyone to know how much she loves this country and how truly sorry she is for making a mistake like the one she made during the Super Bowl.

She was supposed to sing “O’er the ramparts we watched  were so gallantly streaming,” and instead repeated a line she had just song with a small variation.

Here is what she sang.  “What so proudly we watched at the twilight’s last reaming,” saying over and varying an word, with the word ‘watched’  when she should have sung ‘hailed’ and also ‘reaming’ instead of ‘gleaming.’

Her mistake immediately caused a huge buzz on social networks.

Christina is not the first person to sing lines of Star Spangled Banner wrong.  Macy Gray was was nearly booed off the stage in 2001 when she got it wrong.
