During the filming of Friday’s “Tonight” show Conan O’Brien was injured. Filming ceased and a re-run was shown instead.

Conan O’Brien forced the NBC’s ‘Tonight’ show to broadcast a re-run after he was injured filming a stunt for the show. The Forty-six year old funnyman was unable to continue filming and was taken away for medical attention. NBC said he “hit his head doing a stunt and the show was not finished.” No other comments were released from NBC but a staff member said O’Brien was expected to be fine and would most likely be back at work on Friday.

O’Brien joked: “Last thing I remember I was enjoying the play with Mrs. Lincoln, and the next thing I knew I was in bed being served cookies and juice.” At least he saw the funny side!
