Coolio Busted for Drug Possession

Artis Leon Ivey Jr., AKA Coolio was arrested for felony narcotic possession on March 9,2009.

Coolio was in the process of boarding a flight at Los Angeles International Airport. Coolio brought attention to his bag when he tried to prevent his bag from being searched.

Coolio argued with the airport employee, with hopes of discontinuing the search but was continued although it was against Coolio’s wishes.

The Grammy -Winners celebrity status was over looked,  when he was arrested and released after posting bail in the amount of $10,000.

Crack Cocaine was found in Coolio’s possession. Although an LAPD spokes person confirmed Coolio’s arrest, they declined when asked for more detailed information.

Coolio is known for his recent reality show Coolio’s Rule, which featured his his four children as members of the cast. During the show it was shown that the apple has not fallen far from the tree, when his son Artis was shown to have possible involvement with drug activity, and drug use.

Artis seemed to cause Coolio extreme worry when the last episode aired on Oxygen which was the shows finale. I hope that Coolio has since found  help for his son, and include himself in the proccess.

Although the 45 year old Rapper/Actor has stared in the Reality Show Celebrity Fear Factor, and he has also hosted his online reality show Cookin with Coolio. I hope that Coolio faces reality, and make his negative situation into a positive one.
