For the life of Anna Nicole

We have to ask ourselves in these times where mental health impacts so tragically on so many why there isn’t more understanding and more research being done into this awful illness. Mental health comes in all shapes and degrees, some are affected for a short term, others’ battle for their whole lives, unable to “fit” into a world where they dance to a different tune.

I strongly believe that Anna Nicole suffered for a long time. Certainly her life has been documented for every wrong move she made – but it started long before we “knew” her.

As a teen Anna fell pregnant with her first child and that is where help for her should have begun. This has nothing to do with magazines. By that time the authorities, health, DOCs, education, would already have had an insight to the background of young Anna. The right help at that time could have been her savior.

Its all very well to speculate now, but through her sad life Anna was poor, famous, rich, the topic of ridicule and a prime target for people who would take advantage of her. Good, positive support at the beginning could have made all the difference.
