In this article, I will talk about the delay going on with iPhone 5, and all the possible rumors that are going around.

I will be talking about the iPhone 5 delay and the rumors going around.

The Sony CEO gave information away saying that the iPhone 5 would be delayed because of the image censors. Sony is supposedly working on it and their making it in Japan, where the earthquake and tsunami just recently occurred. That is the reason for the camera being delayed, which is going to delay the iPhone 5. The Sony CEO stated during an interview with Wall Street Journal that it was a 8 mega-pixel camera, and accidentally slipped up and talked about the delay. Apple also announced that during WWDC 2011, they would only talk about software, and not hardware, which is a clue that the iPhone 5 is going to be delayed. Which means that they will talk about the new iOS, and not the iPhone 5. If the iPhone 5 is delayed, I am going to be upset.

These are all the possible iPhone 5 rumors, and I will quickly go over them and comment about them:

1. 8 Mega-pixel Camera

This is going to happen for sure as it was confirmed by Sony, which is currently working on it.

2. Possibility of no Home Button

This is something I think will not happen. However, the reason that they said they were going to do this is because they do not want users to put their iPhone in DFU mode (used to jailbreak). I don’t see why Apple would do something like this because 9% of all devices are jail-broken, which is not a huge problem for Apple. 

3. 4 inch screen, better resolution

The 4-inch screen would be nice, but I feel the current size is fine. I do not really care about the possibility of better resolution because the current retina display is already great.

4. Possible design change

They may keep the same design as the iPhone 4, or they may change it to a brand new design as there were problems with the back of the iPhone 4 cracking. I also hope they will fix the antennas on the iPhone 4 because it became a problem when your fingers connected two antennas! It would stop the signal and was really annoying. 

5. 64 GB Model

No comment on this, should happen for sure.

6. White iPhone 5

Questionable because they delayed the White iPhone 4, which still hasn’t been released. 

7. Full HD Video Recording

With the 8 Mega-pixel camera, if this doesn’t happen, I will be sad.

8. Physical Keyboard

Apple is not gonna do this. It’s not Apple.

9. Low Price for iPhone 5

I hope they make the iPhone 5 200$.

10. 3D Display

Highly doubt this.

11. Better Battery

They always try to do this, hopefully they will again.

12. iOS 5

This is what I’m expecting from WWDC 2011, this year.

13. Availability June/July

Possible, but probably not because of the delay.
