New claims that Michael Jackson is not the father of his three children have added to the confusion surrounding the star and his death.

Yet another twist in the Jackson post-death saga has arisen as multiple sources claim what the whole world has always known, Jackson isn’t the biological father of his children. The fair haired, blue eyed, white skinned children are a far cry away from Jackson’s childhood looks and the new claims have only strengthened the unspoken blatancy of the situation.
Jackson has three children; two (the eldest, Prince Michael and Paris) to his ex-wife Debbie Rowe and one (Prince Michael II) to an unnamed surrogate. Celebrity website TMZ claims an unknown sperm donor was used in creating all the children with some US media claiming that Miss Rowe was only the surrogate, not biological, mother having used donated eggs.
Marta Almli, Miss Rowe’s lawyer, has strongly denied claims against Miss Rowe’s paternity of the children, stating them “hurtful and insidious” in the Telegraph. However, speaking to newspaper News of the World, Rowe allegedly confessed that Michael is not the father of the children, stating “I was just the vessel. It wasn’t Michael’s sperm”.
To add to the confusion, some reports claim Miss Rowe went even further and stated to News of the World she was not the biological mother of the children. However, like much of Jackson’s death and indeed life, confusion shrouds the facts.
Jackson’s mother, 79 year old Katherine, was granted custody of the children on Monday. According to official papers, a court hearing will take place on August 3rd to decide permanent custody of the children. However, with reports that Miss Rowe has commented “I don’t want these children in my life. My children are my animals now” and the mother of Prince Michael II uninvolved in the child’s life, it seems unlikely there will be much contestation against Mrs. Jackson’s bid.

I think that regardless if these are or are not his biological children (and that one seems a little obvious) that he has raised these children and they are the father they know. I think that they are going through enough problems and grief and it is sad that they are having to hear these things along with all of the other things from Jackson’s past at this time.
