I’m afraid we’re too late to be new fans. Much respect to you, the king of pop. RIP.

I’m not a fan of his, but I do think that he’s really talented. I’m gonna miss having him around or knowing he’s alive. I’ve been in stealth mode when it comes to him. I never enjoyed making fun of him, but neither did I go out of my way to defend him. But it’s sad that he died because it seems very untimely. People speculate and judge him, even in his death; what I hope for though is that they’d simply be sad about his death. He deserves the grief, he really does. We have memories of a great performance accompanied by great music because of him. He transformed and elevated the standards of entertainment, and just for that, he deserves respect. I am moved by his death because he seemed incomplete; and how can the man who brought the world everything I have said plus a whole lot more possibly be incomplete? It feels as if he traded his personal happiness for ours.

Rest in peace, Michael Jackson.
