After his death yesterday Michael Jackson’s music is crushing the competition on iTunes’ Top 10 list.

After hearing of Michael Jackson’s death yesterday everyone I know has been listening to his music. Its no surprise that his record sales (especially online) have been soaring since the sad news.

As of today Michael Jackson has managed to fill the top 7 positions on the Top 10 Downloads for the iTunes Music Store. This has been greatly fueled by the increased sales of The Essential Michael Jackson album, selling for $16.99.

Its sad to see that such a surge in sales was caused by the end of his life, but I also believe that it is a great tribute to his life and to his work. His name and voice is one that will stand out above the rest for years to come.
