This is a response to a scathing article written about Michael and Farrah.

Response to this article.

I realize that the adoration that has been shown in mourning Michael Jackson’s death has come in overwhelming amounts. Hell, its prompted flag raisers like you to come come out and stomp your foot on the ground saying we’re giving him too much attention. You’re saying that we’re giving him a hero’s goodbye, and that we’ve lost sight of who our heroes actually are.

I’m gonna hit you with a little thing called “reality” here. Michael Jackson was famous all over the world. Firefighters, police officers and soldiers are real life heroes, but I highly doubt anyone in the above field would ever wish to garnish even a snippet of the attention that Michael Jackson’s life received from age 12 till the time of his death.

The reason people are crying for Michael is because of his celebrity. At his height, he was an icon that moved poeple with his music. He wanted to be a celebrity. He wanted the attention. He wanted to (to borrow a phrase) “make the world a better place.”

So, time to get off your high horse, because to most rational thinkers out there, Michael Jackson did unite crowds of people through song. He laid down more than a few track that can be enjoyed by an overwhelming majority of people who align the Earth’s crust.

He may not have saved anyone from a burning building, stopped somsone from being shot or protected his country in brutal war fare, but he was ble to make many singular, positive moments happen through his song, and that is a aid to humanity that can never be measured.
