Inside information on the death of Americas loved actor Patrick Swayze. He stared in films such as “Dirty Dancing” and “Ghost”.

Roadhouse Star Patrick Swayze died from Panceratic Cancer on Monday in Los Angeles, he was only 57. He was diagnosed with the illness in late January 2008, and the cancer spread to his liver decreasing his chances of surviving. He had been undergoing chemotherapy at the Stanford University Medical Center, but unfortunately he passed away the afternoon on September 14, 2009 with the love of his family at his bedside.

Patients suffering from pancreatic cancer are said to generally have a poor prognosis of survival. Only 13% of patients diagnosed with the disease are still alive after one year and only 3% are alive after five years.        

Patrick Wayne Swayze was Irish and Apache descent born on August 18, 1952 in Houston, Texas. He attended San Jacinto College, where he studied gymnastics and Harkness Ballet and Joffrey ballet schools. He was a Licensed pilot, and loved to fly.

Prevoise death rumors aired that he passed away in May 19, 2009 these rumors as you can see were not true. Last year Patrick Swayze told his wife Lisa of 33 years that he didn’t have long to live and wanted to bid his loving family a good bye. The Dirty Dancing star did one film before he laid to rest he was in A&E’s The Beast. Reporters said he looked frail and worn down, even in make up. 

One thing is for sure we will all miss and love Patrick Swayze for decades to come and we all be able to see him at his best in such films as Dirty Dancing, Ghost, Roadhouse, and many more. Swayze is an icon in the acting world and a household name. We will all miss and love you Patrick!
