DMX, real name Earl Simmons, was an up and coming rapper and actor, but, fail short of his potential with constant run ins with the law and drug abuse.  After being released just one month ago, he has landed in jail once again.  This time he was clocked by the highway patrol in Phoenix, Arizona in the Mesa suburbs, at 102 mph in a 65 mph zone on Wednesday night.

Upon being taken into custody, DMX, 40, was charged with criminal speed, driving on a suspended and revoked license and reckless driving.  He was bailed out Thursday morning.

DMX’s troubles seem to overshadow his brilliance, because he is truly a talented individual.  He has had a number of hit songs and looked like he was headed for successful movie career.  DMX really caught the eye of everyone with his performances in Romeo Must Die (2000) with Aaliyah, Exit Wounds (2001) with Steven Seagal and, then again, in Cradle to the Grave (2003) with Jet Li.

However, as time passed, DMX began having trouble with the law; being arrested over 10 times in Arizona.  His legal issues have included drug possession, driving under the influence, weapons charges, animal cruelty and theft.  Why can’t this amazing talent stay out of jail?  He has admitted to struggling with bipolar disorder.  He, also, had dealt with drug addiction.

DMX has vowed to make a comeback and regain the momentum that he had earlier in his career.  His fans are pulling for him and aren’t willing to give up on him or his career.
