This article covers a $60 million deal Sony is negotiating with Michael Jackson’s promoters, for rehearsal videos. The tapes will be used in tribute to Michael.

Sony is reportedly in negotiations to purchase the rights to the films of Michael Jackson’s rehearsals, in preparation for his London tour. It is estimated to cost $60 million.

The deal would reportedly pay 90 percent to Michael’s estate and AEG the promoters, being paid the remaining ten percent.

Sony announced that if successful in its bid, it plan to release a film by the end of October 2009. This will be a winner for Sony and Michael’s fans. It will allow Sony to make millions for years to come, and allow Michael’s fans worldwide, to see him practice, in what has turned out to be, his final days before his untimely death.

When this film is released, there will be no dry eyes in the audience. As Michael said when he announced his tour earlier this year “This is it” He had no idea then how true those words were. May his soul rest in peace!
