Susan Boyle came out and gave a stunning final performance, showing the world what she was truly made of.
Susan Boyle’s final performance on Britain’s Got Talent was well worth the wait. The singer came out and nailed her signature song, I Dreamed a Dream.
Susan gave an even better rendition of the song that first endeared her to the world. She was confident, poised, and vocally at the top of her game.
In spite of tremendous pressure, rumors and bad press, the Scottish lady showed the world she was up for the challenge. As Susan said, she had to put all the pressure aside because it was the most important night of her life, a culmination of a lifelong ambition.
Susan lived up to her words. She came onto the stage and seemed almost serene. She displayed true Scottish grit and a new-found professionalism. Susan showed her love of the music and how, when it came down to the wire, music was her master.
When asked if it was worth it, Susan said enthusiastically that it was well worth it. She then asked, “I’m among friends, am I not?”
Judges React With Heartfelt Emotion to Susan’s Final Performance
Piers: “That, to me, was the greatest performance I’ve seen in Britain’s Got Talent history. You should win this competition.”
Amanda: “You did it for Scotland; you did it for Great Britain.”
Simon: “You had the guts to come back here tonight, face your critics–and you beat them . . . I absolutely adore you.”
Susan received a standing ovation from the three judges and the crowd went wild.
One can’t help but feel that the judges felt regret that Susan didn’t win First Place. They were so obviously in her corner; however, her Second Place win is sure to net her future singing opportunities.

Hi Clay,
I noticed that, too, so will fix it.
Great article! I saw Ozzie’s wife bashing her – it was kinda funny. She said she was sick of hearing about her! HA!
I’m glad the video is now working. Susan’s final performance was wonderful. She will go far.
Susan has a fantastic voice and I wish her all the best. The news reporter said, this morning, that she has some sort of a breakdown. I wish her a speedy recovery
I’ve read that she is exhausted, which is understandable, given the circumstances. The reports may be inflated.
The video kept stopping and starting, but from what I can tell she did amazingly well, esp after all the bad press lately.
Hi Jo,
Yes, the final performance was excellent. The video has to buffer.
She was so down to earth and wonderful. I wish she had won.
Me too, Ruby.
I absolutely loved her and she really rose to the challenge. I do hope she gets better soon. A great article.
Christine
What a great story. I wish I’d been able to watch the entire show.
