RIP – Farrah Fawcett, Michael Jackson, and Billy Mays.

The first loss was Farrah Fawcett. She died at 9:28am at the St. John’s Health Center in Los Angeles after her courageous and lengthy battle with cancer. She was 62. She was a style icon in the ’70s and a star on the old Charlies angels. She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on February 2, 1947. She got the part in Charlie’s Angels after playing in some commercials and guesting for TV shows. She was diagnosed with cancer in 2006. You will be missed.

Later that day, pop star Michael Jackson was pronounced dead. He was 50 years old. The King of Pop was born on August 29, 1958. He started his career as the lead singer in the Jackson5. He began his solo career in 1971 while still being a member of the group. His career really took of in 1982 with the album Thriller which is still the worlds top selling album. He also came out with other famous albums after that such as Off the Wall, Bad, Dangerous, and HIStory. He was one of the few artists to be introduced in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice. Details of his death still remain unknown. We will all miss the King of Pop.

One day later the renowned infomercial king, Billy Mays is found dead at 7:45am in his home. No foul play is suspected. He was also 50 years old. He was born on July 20, 1958. He got into the business from his dad. His dad would often go to flea markets and pitches his products, Billy wanted to get into the pitching business. You may know him as the Oxy Clean Guy, or the Orange Glow Guy, or the Kaboom Dude, but he was much more than just a pitchman. He was a father and a caring husband. We will miss you and your ads Billy Mays.
