Tribute to Michael

     At the pivotal age of fifty, the world has lost one of the greatest music legends of our time.  Not since Elvis Presley has there been such an entertainer.  The “King Of Pop” died suddenly of an apparent heart attack in Los Angeles.

     We can all remember the first time we were introduced to the young and vivacious Michael Jackson at age eleven.  Along with his brothers, he dominated the Jackson Five.  It was only a matter of time before Michael’s star would outshine his older siblings.  Michael Jackson became a solo act and eventually a household name.  His 1982 “Thriller” album was his biggest career milestone.  Michael was on top of the world and soared to the top of the music charts again and again.  Michael Jackson was avidly preparing a London comeback in mid-July.  All of the London concerts were sold out in advance.

     The “King Of Pop”s trademark sequin glove and ever popular moonwalking madness made him an unforgettable phenomenon.  The music world has lost one of its best and brightest.  Michael Jackson’s life in the media was always a whirlwind filled with controversy and scandal.  In some ways this helped the immense career of Michael Jackson, and in some ways it destroyed it.  No matter what trauma erupted in Michael Jackson’s personal life, his music can not be forgotten.  However you felt for Michael Jackson personally, his music won you over.  His musical talents exploded over many different age groups, lifestyles, and continents.  He was truly the gifted entertainer of a lifetime!  Through his words , music, and our memories of him, Michael Jackson will live on in our hearts!  He was inspiration, motivation, vitality, controversy, and scandal all rolled up into one.  

     Michael Jackson touched many lives both personally and professionally.  The recording industry will never be the same without the magic of Michael Jackson.  We grieve for his family and hold tight to the memories he made for us.
