Britney Spears seems to attract scandal and controversy everywhere she goes. What does the future hold for the musical diva?
Why does scandal seem to follow the former teen star, Britney Spears? Unfortunately, it’s true that common sense and good judgment don’t always coincide with fame and fortune. Did Britney get her celebrity start too early in life? Certainly many other childhood actors have fallen victim to run ins and encounters with the law as well as substance abuse problems. As it turns out, the young musical starlet Britney Spears is no exception to scandal and encounters with the authorities.
The unfortunate truth is that money can’t buy intelligence or the ability to express good judgment. It would certainly be to Britney’s advantage if she could use some of her significant stores of money to purchase a little bit of good, old fashioned wisdom. If so, she may have made the very sage decision to have her derelict ex-husband sign a prenuptial agreement which may have saved some of her not insignificant fortunes. Better yet, she could have made a wiser choice in spouse. Add to this the fact that she produced offspring with him and you can see that Britney Spear’s lapses in judgment probably account for one of the reasons scandal seems to follow her.
Maybe the pop vixen should be congratulated that she has yet to land herself in jail as have many of her comrades including Paris Hilton. It’s not surprising that the two celebrities hung out with one another for a brief period of time and likely compared notes on their philosophies on life and how it should be conducted.
The question remains can the famous child star ever get control of her life and avoid the lapses in judgment that have made so many problems for her? The even bigger question emerges. Can she ever have a meaningful career again? All eyes will be on this intriguing pop star, including the paparazzi as she attempts to once again establish her place in the musical world.
Many would argue that Britney Spear’s lack of talent may limit her future as a viable entertainer. One thing’s for sure, no one can doubt that she does attract an enormous amount of interest and attention, at least from the sizeable number of people that read the tabloids and this may be enough to hold most people’s interest.
One thing is for sure, we’ll be watching the troubled pop star closely to see what future scandals and triumphs await Britney Spears.

Not to be overly crass, but Britney Spears’s popularity was lost with her virginity. When your image is based on sex appeal and not raw talent (since, arguably speaking, both are required to have a lengthy, fruitful career), this was bound to happen.
I imagine the rise to popularity is fun. I imagine the crash back to earth is hurtful. I imagine the “scandal” is a result of that. I imagine she’s also yearning for the limelight, and I imagine she’ll slowly (S-L-O-W-L-Y) realize it’s going to slip out her grasp from now on.
