Brief spout on my views of America right now.

Hello All,
Hope I don’t offend anyone but I’m kinda upset with the path America is on right now and this is just a few of my thoughts.
We have a climbing unemployment rate with no new American business’s of any grandeur coming out and most of the things we buy everyday are made outside of America, so all our funds are being given to somewhere else and not being recycled back into our economy, sure there’s Americans with off shore business’s but they send maybe a partial amount back to the U.S, Also we have business’s here that we give bailouts to making money but instead of doing something of good consequence with it they pay all their employee’s a 700,000 dollar bonus…
A major point where we lose a lot of money is in the automotive business I look around and I see us driving Foreign made cars which is a big chunk of money taken right out of America’s pocket and put into foreign jobs and economy’s, as if it wasn’t bad enough already that most of the gas we use in our foreign cars is from a foreign oil well so billions of dollars everyday are leaving us and going right out the door…
I think we need to tighten up and start building more American business’s, I don’t care if were making bobby pins as long as we can supply more job’s and goods for America and as far as our Vehicles are concerned America needs to build more fuel efficient cars if they insist we use shipped in gas.
I just love America and I want it and us to succeed and help this be a better world.
Well I’ve spouted off enough for right now, if this wasn’t to bad for some I will add more.

Hmm…
Food for thought. Like it!
you have prove your point. now just wait for the response of those who are oppose to it.
Some great food for thought here. I don’t think there is much of a market for bobby pins these days, but I get the idea.
Very good! Thanks for the read!
Excellent points, Jasin. The future economy is definitely in question. When handed money as children with no contribution to the effort did we value the dollar. Companies receiving bail outs demonstrate similar mentality. Time to stop asking with an open hand out and start developing own techniques to maintain sustainability. Kudos to you. Mindee
Interesting thoughts, I agree we are down right now,but I guarantee we will be on top once again real soon. The economy is rising all the time and they say by next year we will be in much better shape.
You could transpose the name of any country into the article and it would probably ring true.
You have good points but what you are upset with (IMO) is not the path America, as such, is on but the path to globalization Western countries are on.
Regards,
Inna
wow…you just about summed it up. You are right. Seems we got ourselves in quite a pickle huh?
Well Inna you are correct but I am not concerned with the other countrys which would make it globalization I am concerned with just America right now, everywhere is kinda used to there ways of life but we just keep sliding down hill…
try living in the uk it sucks here
Im sorry it sucks there Flowing but it is up to us to recognize the things we do not like and to change them.
You know what, right now, I would totally take a job making bobby pins if it was offered to me.
Centuries before Christ, Plato said something like democracy would inevitably degenerate into lawlessness and corruption with self interest rampant. The Australian government is lead by people who have given their word and then have broken it. Our current employment situation is quite grave and the pressure for job creation remains large. To make things worse, the impact of the international financial crisis has not yet bottomed out and a lot of companies are still facing business difficulties, posing big unemployment risks. This was thought-provoking Jasin.
