In this article I review the issues in Afghanistan, as I see them.

So, I am listening to Rush Limbaugh. I guess he has gotten over being turned down by the NFL. Personally, I have seen the NFL as a den of iniquity for a long time.

However, my purpose here today is not about American professional sports. I plan to discuss the major political issues surrounding Afghanistan.

When the US decided to invade Afghanistan it was for a good reason. The Taliban government was providing protection for Al Qaeda. Al Qaeda members were responsible for the terrorist attacks on America on September 11, 2001.

Now, during the last months of Bush’s presidency many were saying the war effort in Afghanistan was failing. I , however, did not see any more reports of clashes between American forces and injuries or deaths of American personnel. In fact, I think the politicians and liberal new media started there Afghanistan failure rhetoric in order to help Obama.

These are the issues in Afghanistan as I see them. It is significantly important for America that the Taliban and Al Qaeda not be allowed to take over any country. The American forces in Afghanistan should not be denied all the necessary resources to achieve their mission. I am not happy with the lack of effort and accomplishments by the people of Afghanistan. Under no circumstances should we be doing more than the people of Afghanistan to build their country. Democrats who want American forces out of Afghanistan are using their support for Obama’s healthcare reform as a bargaining chip in order to have troops withdrawn from Afghanistan. Obama is trying to make all the correct political moves in order to keep looking good. In this Obama effort, democrats are making statements in order to give the Afghan leadership clear indirect messages.

I do not believe it Americans job to handle Afghanistan business. People of Afghanistan need to be in charge of their country. Lack of financial and military support for Afghanistan will not jeopardize America’s need to control the Taliban and Al Qaeda.

If these two groups are the legitimate enemy, there should be no problem in working at killing all the members of these groups. Right now the majority of the members of the Taliban and Afghanistan are living in the mountains of Afghanistan and Pakistan. I see no reason why American forces cannot regroup to the northern mountains of Afghanistan and with the cooperation of Pakistan kill the Taliban and Al Qaeda members.

It is responsible of Obama to deny more troops under the current conditions. American troops are responsible for public Afghanistan security and search and destruction of Taliban and Al Qaeda. In order to fulfill both of these responsibilities the American troops in Afghanistan need more troops.

We all know that NATO and EU nations only care about Americans doing all the work and they being able to benefit from business relations with Iraq and Afghanistan. As much of a threat that the Taliban and Al Qaeda all free people of the world I find it despicable of other NATO and EU nations not sending troops. I am sure that as soon as America achieves victory in Afghanistan all these other nations will try to be first in line to establish trade with Afghanistan.

Now, here in America we cannot count on democrats and some republicans. I see were democrats are playing politics while American soldiers die. Many republicans are afraid they will not get reelected if they speak in support of military action in Afghanistan.

However, regardless of the politicians, they potential danger of the Taliban and Al Qaeda is something that should concern everyone of us. Where ever the next terrorist attacks take place we can rest assured it will with kill us or one or more of our neighbors.

Here in lies the problem. Obama’s failure to act is jeopardizing all our lives. His failure to act is definitely endangering the lives of American service personnel. Without the added soldiers the American soldiers in Afghanistan cannot properly secure Afghanistan.

An even more greater problem is the Obama plan of action. What we are seeing is how Obama handles his business. Obama does not have any set high moral standards. Obama does not have credible vision for America. It obviously apparent that Obama is a product of the foolish ideology of the far left liberal extremist.

When you have no moral superiority, you cannot condemn injustice or demand justice. Obama believes leaders and people of nations have the right to set their own direction. Obama fails to recognize that it was the leadership of Afghanistan, the Taliban, along with some of the people of Afghanistan, Al Qaeda, following their own direction that led to the attacks of September 11, 2001.
