Kandahar the spiritual home to the Taliban once more has shown its true colors. This morning with five car bombs simultaneously going off caused at least thirty people their lives and fifty six others wounded. Rocking this city with complete destruction. Targeting a construction company owned by the Japanese but employing mostly engineers from Pakistan. The companies headquarters were destroyed. It was not said how many from this company were among the dead.

With flames shooting into the sky and forty shops being demolished yet another attack has taken place. Once more killing woman, children and innocent people these terrorists continue striking out. No value for human life can be seen from these terrorist. An Associated Press reporter whose home is Kandahar, stated this was the worst blast he has seen in eight year.

With over forty US troops killed in Afghanistan this month alone and numerous civilians it seems there is no relief in sight to put a stop to these inhumane acts of violence. Taliban militants are the ones to blame for all of the violence in this country.

This year has been classified the second deadliest month in this country since the US invasion back in 2001. There have been 172 American soldiers killed this year so far and no one is saying how many innocent civilians have died.

America has over 60,000 troops in Afghanistan right now. There is also a large NATO base in the area but the Taliban militants control cities to the west.

How many more bombs will explode? How many more have to die before there inhumane group of crazies are put where they belong? There seems to be no answers for any of the above.

Being in the Middle East since 2001 it really does not seem that our presence there does much to control what is happening. Lets pull out of Iraq and move back into Afghanistan. In my opinion it seems we are playing tag or at least  trying to. Trying to target the worst places to be and trying to stop the death toll from rising any further.

I realize our presence there does make a difference and the people who we protect are glad we are there for them, but something soon must be done to rid the world of these militants.

Rock dwelling Taliban remind me of rats hiding so as not to be captured. No words can describe my thoughts on these unjust murderers. Something really needs to be done to protect not only the Afghan citizens but also our American troops trying to make peace in this country of war.
