A woman claims aliens from another world swooped and kidnapped her daughter’s snowman and pet cat.
A woman in Derbyshire, England claims that space aliens kidnapped her snowman and her cat.
Lorraine Deacon, aged 38 and living in a small village just outside of Matlock in Derbyshire had built a snowman for her daughter, Michelle aged 7. This was on Friday, 3rd December at approximately 4pm.
Later that evening she states a bright light lit up the rear garden and a strange “humming noise” could be heard.
“I built the snowman with my little girl. Michelle had pestered me to build one with her most of the week after the heavy snowfall we had. I couldn’t let her down”, says the single mother.
It was after the back garden had illuminated and the noise had disappeared that Lorraine decided to investigate.
“I opened up the back door and all I could see was stars in the night sky. Then it hit me.”
Missing Snowman
The woman sensed something wasn’t quite right. So she ventured out with a torch into the back garden.
“I saw the snowman was missing. I had to blink as it was over six feet in height and at least two foot width at the base”, she claims. “I was shocked as my nearest neighbour is half a mile away. I thought kids had been and took it away but it would weigh a ton.”
It was at this point that Lorraine had the shock of her life.
“The strange humming returned and my pet cat, Ted, was against the rabbit hutch and hissing.”
Lorraine shuddered, not from the cold, but from what she claims she witnessed next.
“The garden lit up like daylight and I looked up and saw what appeared to be a triangular shaped craft hovering overhead. It was like nothing I have seen before, only on the X-Files.”

Ted, the six year old ginger pet cat, was suddenly seen to levitate upwards in a beam of light and carried off towards the mysterious craft above.
“Ted just slowly took off towards whatever it was up above. He was motionless as he meowed upwards shrouded in a green beam of light. That was the last I saw of him before he disappeared inside the object.”
Lorraine considered calling the police. However, fear of ridicule stopped her from doing so.
Pelted with Snow Balls
The woman then realised she was under attack as a barrage of snowballs pelted her from above.
“I dived for cover as dozens of snowballs hit me fro all angles.”
After the attack the mother rose to see the craft “vanish”.

“The mysterious craft just vanished as if into thin air”, she goes onto say. “I stood there for a moment totally dumbfounded and in shock. Then I snapped out my daze and had to tell Michelle the disappointing news.”
Upon explaining to her daughter what she had just witnessed, Lorraine claims her daughter was more upset by the missing snowman than the house cat.
“I know Ted is out there somewhere”, claims Lorraine. “But as for the snowman he has bound to have melted by now. I just hope the water from the melted snowman blew up their warp drive.”
Lorraine considered calling the producers of the X-Files but later changed her mind. “Even Mulder wouldn’t believe aliens would hijack a snowman”, she retorts.

Umm, the truth is out there my friend. I lived in Ashbourne in Derbyshire for a few years I did not see any aliens, but I did see a lightning strike once on a sunny day, I saw the blue flash of lightning and the TV mast for the area blew up you could see ths sparks for miles! strange land is that there Derbyshire! Great article as usual. LB
Maybe her snowman just melted. lol. A very interesting article. I didn’t think aliens were capable of doing this. I would love to build a snowman
