Apparently Abu Dhabi Has Billions to Spare, But Not for Palestine

The use of large sums of money for business when people are struggling to survive around the world is always upsetting, but more so when nations that appear to have an ethnic bond do not support each other. Abu Dhabi recently gave Dubai $10 billion, a lot of good could have been done to help Palestinians with money like that.
Forgive me for stating the obvious but $10 billion is a lot of money. Abu Dhabi recently gave Dubai $10 billion (that is 10,000,000,000) to help Dubai World pay off it’s debts.
The Arab nations are always going on about their brothers in Palestine, and how terrible the conditions are in the Gaza Strip, and yet here is an enormous amount of money being passed from one Arab nation to another, not for any noble cause, but to pay off debts and continue doing business. If they have that much money lying around and if they feel so badly for their brothers in Gaza, then why have they not given the Palestinians financial aid. I am only referring to humanitarian aid not military aid.

Israel is criticized for not giving Gaza enough financial humanitarian aid, and Israel is the “enemy” of Palestine, so why then are these Arab nations not pressurized into putting their money where their mouths are. It seems more logical that the Arabs should be donating money to the Palestinians and not the Jews.
Of course I am not referring to financing the purchase of weapons, as who knows where that money comes from, but money for food, medicine and laying the foundations for a new nation. Palestine will eventually be an independent nation at peace with Israel, it is just a matter of time, but until then couldn’t a little of the $10 billion go on building hospitals, universities, houses and roads in the Gaza Strip and West Bank.

I wish peace and good will to all humanity and send out a prayer that we can all live in peace and harmony; I only urge the Arab nations to reevaluate their priorities and extend some of their wealth to their brothers and sisters in Palestine, who need help establishing their infant nation.

What Abu Dhabi did was a business deal. Abu Dhabi will in some way benefit financially from what it did. Abu Dhabi would not make money giving Palestine $10,000,000,000,000. There is nothing and nobody more important to wealthy people than to stay wealthy and to get wealthier. A wealthy Jew and a wealthy Arab have more in common than they do with anyone who is poor.
Well post…
