Arab MK Ahmad Tibi calls Lieberman a Fascist for the revised of a bill that makes it more reasonable.

Despite the change to the bill that, rather than banning the Naqba event, would just prohibit the government from funding that propaganda event, Arab MK Ahmad Tibi, chairman of the United Arab Ta’al called Lieberman a Fascist. Of course, Ahmad Tibi is hypocritical, since, while calling Lieberman a Fascist, Tibi has already defended Hamas, which is truly Fascist and genocidal to the core, as it can be seen on their charter. He says that his views and the views of Ismail Haniyeh [Hamas leader] just “differ” and refers to them as cousins. Let us hope that his views differ with Haniyeh, when it comes to the latter’s statement:

Oh Americans, Allah will punish you because you have attacked Palestine, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Somalia, and because you have fought anyone who raised the banner of Islam,” Haniyeh said.

The time has come for Allah to declare war on you, oh usurers! How could He not? After all, in the Koran, Allah declared war in only one case – that of usury.

Imagine if a white American Republican Congressman referred to the KKK as cousins, defends them and states that his views just “differ” from them. I think we all know how people, and particularly the liberal “mainstream” media, would react.

Well, Hamas is no better than the KKK, as you can see from the Hamas charter, which no one from Hamas even gave cheap lipservice against. That charter is among the proof that Hamas is anti-Semitic to the core.

So Avigdor Lieberman is a Fascist for a revised bill that just prohibits government funds to a propaganda event, but Hamas isn’t and just differs from the Arab MK? This is just insanity that many in the media are willing to tolerate in the  an Lieberman crusade.

The original bill was too extreme. But the bill with the added provision is reasonable. Why should the Israeli government use tax payer money to fund a propaganda event that denies Israel’s basic right to exist as a Jewish state and that presents the creation of Israel in a bad light. The basis of that event, which is very far from the truth, is that Israel’s creation and that Israel herself is primarily [if not only] responsible for the Arab refugee problem. That distorted assumption has been discredited by scholars like Ephraim Karsh. What country would fund an event that denies the existence of their country and that portrays the creation of that country as the “original sin”? My question to the pro-Hamas Tibi is, “Am I a Fascist for making these thoughtful observations”?

I am a critic of many of Lieberman’s positions. Lieberman’s extreme statements has been denounced by Israeli government officials [including Prime Ministers] and even by supporters of Israel. He does not represent the majority position of any Israeli government.

You got to admit that, though I do concede that the original bill on the Naqba was too extreme, that the revised bill is reasonable and legitimate. It’s not Fascist to being opposed to the Israeli government funding a propaganda event that denies the very existence of the state and that holds it primarily [if not only] responsible for the Arab refugee problem. That even basically mourns the creation of Israel. Yet the bash Lieberman “mainstream” media is willing to accept this insanity and blindly assumes that he is racist no matter what he says, even if what he says has to be distorted. The statement that the bill to ban the Israeli government’s funding of an event that doesn’t accept Israel’s right to exist and that basically states that Israel’s creation is the “original sin” is Fascist is absurd. Arab MKs idolize with Israel’s terrorist enemies during times of war and make some of the most ridiculous statements. Yet only Lieberman is the bad guy while the terrorist-supporting Arab MKs are innocent victims of the big bad Lieberman. Even Eric Yoffie, in his article for the Reform Jewish Magazine, which falsely argues that Arab citizens of Israel are treated as second-class citizens and which criticizes Lieberman [even calling him "anti-democratic"] at least admits that Arab MKs are not innocent:

To be sure, the other side is not blameless. Arab Knesset members delight in provoking the Jewish majority. At times their provocations exceed all limits of decency, including expressing support for Israel’s enemies in times of war–which drives many of Israel’s Jewish voters into Lieberman’s arms.

At least that claim gives some balance, while other anti-Lieberman zealots leave out the fact that Arab MKs constantly support terrorism. And then when you get to that issue, you’re suddenly labeled as an anti-Arab racist by many politically-correct leftists and by anti-Israel propagandists. This goes to show the insanity of the bash Lieberman machine, which puts Arab MKs above criticism even if they support Israel’s terrorist enemies, who seek the destruction of the Jewish state of Israel.
