A recent air strike on Afghanistan civilians has caused people to think that.

This is a result of not the Taliban, Hamas or Hezbollah but our American Soldiers. I know they say oh this are casualties of war but I can’t see an optimistic view about this. We keep looking like the bad guys. This reminds me of the Vietnam war in which we caused so much death and destruction with the result of losing that war. I believe we should have entered the middle east with a different approach maybe more construction than destruction. If we had just build more schools more jobs the people would’ve been more educated equaling in their own fight against the terrorists.
More than 100 civilians died on an air strike that was intended for the Taliban. Intended is not enough to equal the lives of those innocent people that died. It seems like we are helping the Taliban recruit more people to their organization. The civilians are protesting against America calling it the mother of all Terrorist. That is not a label I wish to belong to. You will see that this war is gonna be the opposite, the more deaths we cause the more the Taliban will grow stronger. In the end it will be another Vietnam war just fought in the desert instead of the jungle but will result in the same conclusion, no solution.

I totally agree with you. Some countries also call America, “The Great Satan.” That is also a term I do not want to be associated with. We call ourselves,” Peace Makers”. The trigger happy leaders who decide who our enemies are, need to be in the front lines of the wars they start. Good article. Excellent!!!
