It used to be offensive to use President Obama’s middle name because it was the negative low blow in the election. But now it is something else. And those who would not be named are using it against him.

Now, after he has been elected, it is easier for everyone to say it but it does roll off the tongue in a certain way. Those who use it against him as a label of an indecent man or an inference to being Muslim are wrong. Those who think we should ignore it and forget he has the middle name are just as wrong and in some ways far more ignorant. That concludes the bi-partisan part of this article. In fact, forget politics for the rest of it.

Anyone who hears this following statement must be forced to take a step back and lose all stereotypes from their soul. “I now present, the President of the United States of America, Barack Hussein Obama.” Now if you hear his name and are truly an American and you understand completely what makes this country great, then whether you are republican or Democrat you should embrace him wholeheartedly. He represents the melting pot of nations that have created this country.

I hate to be the one to break it to all the Republicans trying to oust him for his middle name, but you are not a true American. Nor am I. Only the Native Americans which we nearly eradicated are the true Americans. We are all here as settlers, as immigrants as foreigners trying to embrace capitalism. So whether he has a Muslim-esque middle name or an ethnic sounding first name and a last name that rhymes with a terrorist shouldn’t matter.
