The tasks ahead of our new president and the rough road he has in order to persuade the naysayers to follow him on the road to redemption.
The housing crisis. The banking crisis. The energy crisis. Global warming. Iraq. Am I forgetting something? Barack’s crisis! Imagine being the person in charge of rectifying all the problems that face our great nation. Imagine being scrutinized for attempting to ford this deluge of disaster with the swift and powerful maneuvers required of any great sea captain or accomplished airline pilot. Imagine the greatest country in the world falling to ruin because its own representatives failed to help their leader find the path to redemption and its own media drowned his persona as he waded through the muck we are all responsible for cleaning up.
United We Stand is not a cliché, it is a directive for the triumph of our cause as the leaders of the Free World. It is our job, Americans, to rise above the muck and malicious media. It is our job, all believers and non, to embrace our new leader. For Barack Obama be President of the United States, we must first be united. Give the new guy a break. Give him a hand. Give him the oars to this rickety imported boat so he can row back to the shore to get a shiny and new, American-made, economy-boosting vessel with which to navigate the rough seas and the muck that is our economy. Rise up and unite, America, and this could be the greatest era this country has ever seen. Let us all come together and stand Obama on our shoulders so that he may see the lighthouse and guide us to calm waters where we can swim for safety.

Nice work.. Its hard for any man to do something has to give for something to be fixed… hes Barak Obama not David Copperfield..
Great article. I agree with Stephencardiff….Obama is not Copperfield. There has never been a more important time for the Americans to stand united and back this President.

God Damn right.Barrak is the man and so are you!!
i agree obama has a rough road he was given it is time to stand up and help our country and its leader good write good thought would have liked it as alonger article the makings are there for shore god bless
I wouldnt want his job for anything. Really, it doesnt matter what he does….he is not going to please all sects. Like I say, I am not on board with all that he is doing ie- healthcare, census, etc.. Still, I think he has overall done okay with the hand he has been given.
Since I wrote this article, Obama has taken the bull by the horns and wrestled it to the ground. He has taken no time at all giving old politics the boot and making the changes he feels are necessary. I’m not saying that I agree with everything he has done or not done, but I can say this: He is not wasting any time getting to the issues. This is what our country needs-someone who can keep pace with the world.
