My opinion on the idea of cutting High School Sports out of the picture.

There has been rumor going around Florida that they are going to cut High School sports out of the picture. Well,In my opinion that is just pure insanity! First of all, the graduation rate in Florida is going to take a plummet for the worst.  For exmple, A senior in High school  is hoping to  get a scholarship to The University of Florida to play football. Now, his family can’t afford to send him there by themselves, so they too are relying on this scholarship. Now say they cut High School sports including: Track, Volleyball, Football, Baseball etc. What is this senior in High School going to do if his parents cant afford to send him to College? He is most likely going to drop out and get a job at Mcdonalds or something of that sort. If they were going to cut something, why dont you just cut extras like cookies, ice cream, and candy out of lunch. What do you think: A couple of extras at lunch or a scholarship to a university where you can actually do something with your life. In my opinion, cutting High School sports would be the most insane thing to do to the state of Florida
