My overview of the upcoming Bobby Jindal fad.

Governor Bobby Jindal is the youngest Republican holding office. He is also the son of Indian immigrants. He is also quickly becoming the new hero of the Republican Party. There are rumors that Bobby Jindal might run for the office of the President of the United States in 2012. Could Jindal become our next president?

At the last CPAC meeting, members voted on who would be the next GOP frontrunner in four years. In the lead was former governor Mitt Romney, than Sara Palin and Bobby Jindal were in a dead tie. Mike Huckabee came in last even after Ron Paul and Tim Palenty. So I think the members of CPAC and the other republicans wouldn’t mind Jindal in ’12.

The Governor of Louisiana (Bobby Jindal) gave a rebuttal speech after president Obama gave his first State of the Union address. Which I must say the Governor did poorly considering how he usually fares in public speaking, even on national television.

Seeing the first biracial (yes biracial, not black) president gave his first State of the Union speech must be hard to fallow. Even for someone like Bobby Jindal. With many standing O’s and waves upon waves of dramatic applause. Dramatic as in the corny nickel-back music a teenage girl plays on her Myspace page after her best friend took a shot of cheap vodka off of her boyfriend’s washboard abs. not the “I get tickles in my happy places when he speaks.” Kind of dramatic known in the media simply as “Obama-Mania”.

Once this Obama fad fades from the populous maybe a Jindal fad will arise. Maybe someone will be elected who will actually not drive our budget into the ground. Someone who will not surrender to threats and acts of terror. I wish I could have a president that made me feel confident. Not one that makes me feel like I should stash my money under my bed because it’s the end of the world. It remind me of the “duct tape your windows.” Era.

I could see myself voting for this Bobby Jindal in a few years.
