Disrespectful, Inappropriate and Out of Line have been the talk of the week but aren’t they all? Republican’s VS Democrats, Government VS the People, People VS each Other, Where and when does it all end?
It starts with the Government and how they conduct business. Everyone was taught to respect the government or to fear it at the very least when growing up in the forties through the sixties, but the change came in the sixties, didn’t it? Well, it depends on who you listen to or what you read and believe.
There were those that believe the women got voting rights solely because the man that pushed it through figured the women would vote him into office and only through their votes would he even stand a chance of winning.
Some believe it was during the sixties when “peace, love and drugs” were the popular fraises of the day and most people closed their eyes to it all saying “It’s just a faze the children are going through and it will end soon.”
Some people believe it was way back when our government imposed taxes for the first time with a promise never kept that when the war was over the taxes will end, instead they’ve become bigger and more things became taxed.
The list of where and why it all began can go on and on, it doesn’t matter anymore when it started or even how it all began; the problem is, it did and when will it end?
There once was a time when stay at home mothers were respected, look out! President Obama has been reported as condemning stay at home mom’s; why? If a woman wants to go out and work she should be aloud to do so, if a woman wants to stay at home and tend to her own children and household chores then she should be aloud that too. Who are you to dictate to a parent what is right for them? Aside from the fact that the leaders of our government, thus far has made it virtually financially impossible for a woman to stay at home and be a housewife anymore, you should have no say in it what so ever.
Let’s not forget the “Women’s Liberationists” and their downcast view on stay at home mothers. Some of their rhetoric includes the lies that women stay at home because they think they have no other choices. Well, sorry to break this to you people but, I was taught in school that I did have other choices but I chose to be what I wanted to be, a stay at home mother, and if I had staid that way I’d still have my three youngest children today, but I won’t go there.
Where I will go though is, why is it even though a stay at home mother is looked down on, she gets medical for herself, her children and her husband when no one without young children in the home can? Just being a parent isn’t good enough these days because there are more Foster Homes than actual parent run homes in many areas. I see more children running the streets today than when I was a child. Want to know why?
Aside from the system being broken just ask anyone off the street anywhere and they will tell you the same thing, “Go get your girlfriend knocked up” or “Go get married and have kids.” That is the only way they can receive medical benefits and we have aloud this time and time again.
So why is there such disrespect or inappropriate behavior or out of line conduct? Perhaps if we could learn from our past mistakes and make right the wrongs done instead of pointing endless fingers at everyone and everywhere else then we might actually get somewhere; to do that though we must learn to respect others for their ways of doing things and stop putting everyone in your likeness. Not all people are of the same mold just as not everyone has the gift of dance, gift of doctoring, gift of writing or even the gift of pulling multitudes of people together in one direction as our now President Obama did during his election.
It is said that money makes the world go around but without people where would there be any money? Machines will do the work; without people to create, program and fix those precious machines how could they operate? It is not money that is the most precious thing in this lopsided world it is the people. Take the people out of all of the equations known on this earth and see what you get. A beautiful picture but there would be no machines, no commerce, no factories, just overgrown real-estate with lots and lots of wild animals, clean water-ways, lakes and oceans, etc, but nothing pertaining to man kind.
Should people feel they have to have babies just to get insurance for their medical needs? Shouldn’t all people be considered equal regardless of currant medical conditions, age or living conditions and be able to obtain good quality medical care? And as for illegal immigrants sure give them medical care, and then send them home and bill their own government for the total cost; make them responsible for their own people. I say this because I don’t want them coming here and giving us all diseases they may have brought with them.
So when we talk about disrespect, inappropriate and out of line as it was said a Republican senator did let us all remember that this is a disease that has plagued and been building for many years. Cultivated by groups saying respect is earned and not freely given when in fact respect is something that all people should have for one another unless proven otherwise. Some would and have argued the point that the senator only said out loud what many were thinking as they listened. While perhaps the moment was inappropriate he did wait for the President to finish his sentence before blurting his thoughts out loud for all to hear. Although he apologized for his outburst and it was accepted now the Democrats want a public apology for a man speaking his belief. I agree with the senator, they shouldn’t get one. Many believe as he does and he was speaking on their behalf. Someone should, and I’m sorry if those reading this article doesn’t like what
