OK, the papers and comments have noted the feeble attempt at evoking apocalypse by setting the launch at Battersea Power Station, but why is nobody seeing the single most pathetic thing about the current Conservative campaign, i.e. that they are using as their slogan “We’re All in This Together”. Quite apart from it being a ludicrous suggestion from those who want to give tax breaks to double billionaires and cut services to those who are really struggling, has nobody noticed that this is a cosmically cringeworthy attempt to use the title of the big song from the first High School Musical film – Come on Britain! Don’t fall for the latest batch of insincere solidarity from the champions of every man for himself, not if they can’t even string together a good brainwashing
campaign. They are a change for the worse. Vote to keep them out. Simples!
