Attacks against inocent Patriots trying to to voice their opinions.
Let’s start this off by looking back in time. Back to george W. Bush’s Presidency to precise. I’m not going to say that Bush was our best President, because he wasn’t. But, he wasn’t our worst either. The reason that I am calling up these memories of the Bush years, is that something happened time after time during his administration. Something that the media doesn’t want us to remember. The anti-war movement. The groups who were part of this movement attacked the President non-stop and yet he took it. Now back to the present..
President Obama is trying his best to push through this health reform act. Many Americans are highly upset with this act, and are protesting it. Funny thing is, President Obama is a Democrat and now the “protesting” is in the words of Speaker Pelosi, “Anti-American”. Funny how in the past few years things can change so fast. Here are people going to town hall meetings to ask their elected officials questions, and some are making scenes, but here are the people voicing their opinions and being called anti-American for it. That is ridiculous. If anything, these anti-war protestors were the ones who were anti-American, for not supporting our troops. Many of these people who are protesting are veterans who have disabilities from their service for this country. And for the person who is thrid in line to the Presidency, to call these people anti-American is appalling. This country was based on the rights of the people, and now when the tables are turned on the democrats, and their the ones facing public scrutiny, they resort to name calling. President Bush at leat had the courage to stand up and take it. Nancy Pelosi should personaly appologize to the people during her next press conference if she is not too busy calling the C.I.A liars. I’ll let the last statement sit with you.
