Economic Downfall

It is a know fact that the state of affairs in Michigan has reach a all time high. Is there any relief in sight? It’s hard to say for sure. Gov. Grandholm has or is currently passing yet another bill to raise taxes again. Why? The Michigan people are already starving as is.

It’s hard to sit here and think that only four years ago our economy was doing well, not great, but well.  And now it’s a disaster. Maybe I should run for Governor, then maybe we can get some things done. first and foremost it would be the salary cut for all the heads of state, for example. all the state senate committee, senators, aids, everyone up in Lansing. I feel that they make too much money and the rest of us are struggling to make ends meet. the main point is that once you leave office of what ever appointment – your done period!

When you leave a normal job, your done-period; you do not keep getting payed by that company for years like senators, governors, former presidents, congressmen/and women. YOUR DONE!!!!!!!!!!  I live in Jackson, and I have sat here and watched business after business go down in flames. there is NO relief. The government stimulus package is a load of crap, it did no good  for the average tax paying individual. Nothing to help out the people that really could have bounced back the economy in this country- We the People!

If the government really wanted to help us, they would have taken all that money , taken all the tax paying people in America, and given them a percentage. That roughly would have been about $150,000.00 to each person. this was said before here on the Internet. That way mortgages, bills, credit cards, etc. would all get payed, Then the American people would have the power to start buying things again, hence forth boosting the economy back to stabilization.

The bottom line is that we need to bring more industries into Michigan, to bring the UN-employment rate down instead of up. The Governor and Lansing are trying really hard so they claim to bring more business to MI. But I have to say. Move over, retire, go back to Canada, and let some real people get in there and fix thing for the better of all the people, and not just the Rich and Power full. I would run for Governor, then kick everyone out of there, hire all new people. bring new business to MI.  Because Lansing sends a proposal and they turn it down because we are a dying state and there isn’t enough money here for there business to survive, so they say NO! it’s too much of a financial risk.  And the Great people of Michigan once again – go starving.
